In 2015, Groupe Chevrillon invested in WatchFrog, a biotechnology company specialized in the detection of serious pollutions of drinkable and non-drinkable waters. WatchFrog developed an innovative solution to measure water quality by using larvae of amphibians and fishes which become fluorescent in the presence of endocrine disruptors, of heavy metals or of other pollutants in the water. Developed over the last ten years, WatchFrog’s tests and analysis allow industrial companies and local authorities to control the presence and the level of pollutants in their products or their discharges from factories.
